The e-Vermont Community Broadband Project will work intensively with 24 rural communities over the course of the next 2 years. While a lot of energy and attention goes to these towns, we also have a goal of making information & lessons learned available to anyone interested in optimizing the use of internet in their community.

Watch this website over the upcoming months to find:

• Feature stories from e-Vermont communities
• A resource library of online tools developed by the Snelling Center for Government
• Online webinar broadcasts from a collaboration between the Vermont State Colleges, Vermont Small Business Development Center, and Snelling Center for Government
• A schedule of regional workshops and conferences organized by the Snelling Center for Government

And of course we encourage everyone to check back after October 1st to download a copy of the application to be an e-Vermont Community in our second round. Applications will be due November 17th, 2010 with work beginning in January, 2011.
